Raised in the heart of the River Valley, Kayla has always had a passion for beauty and creativity. After attending cosmetology school locally, she began her career in Fort Smith in 2018, quickly building a reputation for her skill, attention to detail, and warm, welcoming personality.

From day one in the hair industry, Kayla dreamed of one day opening her own salon. A dream that felt big but never out of reach. That dream is finally a reality.

Cecily Colburn
Salon Assistant
Cecily is a 16 year old high school junior with a passion for beauty and helping others feel confident in their own skin. As Tru Tone's Salon Assistant, she brings a warm, friendly, energy to the Salon. ​Outside the salon, Cecily loves hiking and exploring nature, which inspires her calm and grounded approach to everything she does. She is grateful for the opportunity to grow with Tru Tone and excited to be a part of creating a beautiful experience for every guest who walks through the door.
Alyssa James
Stylist
Alyssa is a hairstylist, truly blooming at Tru Tone, with a passion for creating look to fit each clients personality and lifestyle, whether that's a subtle refresh or something new and bold. She want's every client to feel like the best version of themselves when they leave the chair. Being apart now this team has allowed me to grow in an inspiring environment while building genuine connections. When Alyssa is not behind the chair she loves spending time with her friends and family.
Kody Thiel
Stylist
Kody is a hairstylist from California with experience behind the chair since 2020. He is a blonde and haircut specialist. As a stylist at Tru Tone, he makes every guest in his chair feel welcomed. He is passionate about creating the custom look for every client that feels effortless and beautiful. Building genuine connections is just as important to him as the hair itself- He wants every appointment to feel welcoming, comfortable and fun. When Kody is not in the salon he enjoys reading, baking, traveling, and spending time with animals.
